Philip Meech - Cafe Lusso! 

Philip Meech, founder of Caffe Lusso, contacted Brad Thomson Coaching in early 2020. Caffe Lusso had already done an exceptional job at building a brand based on outstanding values and spectacular, high quality coffee over the 20 years of their existence.

Philip was wanting to scale to business and consequently looked to improve sales as, up to that point, they had never been particularly outward focused in their efforts to boost revenues via outbound sales initiatives. (Little did Philip know at that point that COVID was less than 3 months away!)

It has to be stated at the outset that Philip was a dream pupil basically stating that he would do whatever he was told, as this was his first foray into the sales world.

Over the ensuing 3 months, Philip embraced both the sales philosophy as well as the sales activities that we believe make professional and successful salespeople! By making research, focused prospecting and disciplined sales approaches integral parts of his daily business routine, he was able to land some significant accounts that totally boosted income at the time but also laid the foundation for the business that ultimately played a strong role in them thriving and surviving the impacts of the COVID pandemic.

Listening to a coffee roaster, talking about prospecting, fact finding, asking questions, making proposals, about moving people from suspects, to prospects, to customers and then to clients is testimony to the fact that sales is an ability that can be learned…and mastered, exactly as Philip did.

Apart from the fact that Caffe Lusso is unbelievably good coffee to begin with, Philip is also a very astute businessman who is now, dare say it? … an outstanding salesman as well!!

The company continues to grow, despite the pressures of COVID and we look to significant future growth for a wonderful team and a brilliant company.
